Rockstar has already released what most outlets call GTA 6 Trailer 3. It arrived on Thursday, October 15, 2026, with no warning, and Rockstar’s own name for it is the Launch Trailer.

Rockstar released the third GTA 6 trailer, titled the Launch Trailer, on October 15, 2026. That was 35 days before the November 19, 2026 launch, and Rockstar announced nothing in advance. Rockstar does not count its 26:48 Extended Look from August 27, 2026 as Trailer 3, and as of October 24, 2026 no further trailer has been announced.

Rockstar published the Launch Trailer on October 15, 2026. It runs about 90 seconds and was captured on PS5, according to Guru3D. Kotaku reported that it went online without any teasing.
Rockstar’s own trailer page lists four videos: Trailer 1, Trailer 2, An Extended Look and the Launch Trailer. It gives the last one no number. “Trailer 3” is a press label, used by Game Rant and GamingHQ among others.
Rockstar has announced no further trailer. DualShockers says another short preview cannot be ruled out, but the studio itself calls this one the launch trailer. The release date itself moved twice. Rockstar delayed the game to May 26, 2026 on May 2, 2025, four days before Trailer 2. It then delayed it to November 19, 2026 on November 6, 2025. Our guide, gta 6 delayed again: the full timeline, covers both.
One thing was not a trailer. On June 18, 2026, Rockstar revealed the cover art in a short teaser and said pre-orders would open June 25, per VGC. Many people expected a trailer on pre-order day. None came.
Editorial reading: the gaps shrank as launch got closer, and Rockstar showed new footage at its own pace rather than on a fixed calendar.
How much notice Rockstar usually gives
Rockstar has given between 0 and 26 days of notice. Two of its four videos came with none.
Trailer 1: a month, then an exact date
Rockstar said on November 8, 2023 that a trailer would come in early December. On December 1 it posted the exact slot: Tuesday, December 5 at 9 a.m. ET. The trailer leaked, so Rockstar released it on December 4.
Extended Look: three weeks, with a time
Rockstar announced the Netflix premiere on August 6, 2026. It gave the day and the hour, 3 p.m. ET on August 27.
Trailer 2 and the Launch Trailer: none
Both appeared with no announcement. Trailer 2 landed four days after the first delay news. The Launch Trailer landed 35 days before release.

Jason talks about leaving the Army on bad terms, and Lucia appears to call from prison, per Motor1. It also shows bank robbery, police and helicopter scenes, according to Guru3D. Its new song, “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, is the first original track in a GTA 6 trailer, per gHacks.
